Mercedes air suspension leaking?

Mercedes air suspension systems were technically far ahead of their time. They not only ensured exceptional comfort, but also constant chassis geometry – regardless of load and driving conditions. However, after decades of use, even the robust systems from the W100, W109, and W112 series are struggling with aging, seal loss, and leaks. At Wörle Fahrzeugtechnik, we take care of the professional repair and restoration of your air suspension system – for driving comfort like it used to be.

How Mercedes air suspension works –
and why it is so special

Models such as the Mercedes 600, 300 SEL 6.3/3.5, and 300 SE were equipped with sophisticated air suspension that allowed the vehicle level to be kept constant regardless of the load. This meant that the track and camber were always correctly adjusted—an advantage that conventional chassis of the time could not offer.

The systems work very reliably when the components are intact. However, over the years, O-rings and rubber seals harden, membranes tear, and leaks occur. The result: the vehicle sags – often overnight or even within hours.

A functioning system keeps the vehicle level stable for months.

If this is not the case with your classic car, have it checked now!

Symptoms of defective air suspension

The following symptoms indicate leaky valves, defective pressure accumulators, porous seals, or leaks in the air lines. We diagnose the cause and offer a sustainable solution.
