The engine is the heart of a Mercedes classic car – powerful, durable, and often far ahead of its time in terms of technology. Engine repair process
at Wörle Fahrzeugtechnik

Engine repair in 3 steps:

1

Disassembly & Analysis

Your vehicle’s engine is completely removed, cleaned, and dismantled into all its individual parts—depending on its condition, down to the block and cylinder head. We then analyze the components for cracks, wear, corrosion, and tolerances.
2

Processing & refinement

Preparation of aluminum and steel parts, chemical nickel plating of attachments, electrogalvanizing of screws, brackets, and connections, replacement of all wear parts, inspection and machining of crankshaft, pistons, and camshafts.
3

Assembly according to factory specifications

After successful refurbishment, professional reassembly takes place with true-to-original alignment, fine adjustment, and documentation.

Why a complete
engine overhaul makes sense

A reconditioned engine not only delivers performance, but also reliability, smooth running, and value retention. Many Mercedes engines—whether M100, M180, or M116—are designed to continue running for decades when properly reconditioned. The challenge: engine reconditioning requires expertise, special tools, and access to rare spare parts. We disassemble engines down to the last seal ring and rebuild them to the highest technical and visual standards.
